Seminole Indian History and Culture Presentation April 24 at Foosaner’s Harris Auditorium

MELBOURNE, FLA. —Vandall V. Samuels, outreach specialist for the Seminole Tribe of Florida and the Ah-Tah-Thi-Ki Museum on the Big Cypress Seminole Indian Reservation in Clewiston will speak about his tribe’s history, culture and tradition at a presentation Thursday, April 24, at Foosaner Art Museum’s Harris Community Auditorium in the Eau Gallie Arts District of Melbourne.

The free, public event begins at 2 p.m. and is expected to last an hour. It is presented in conjunction with the museum’s exhibition, “Langdon Kihn: An American Story,” on view through May 11.

Samuels will speak about the history and struggle of the Seminole Tribe of Florida, and Seminole artifacts will be presented.
